How to write good essay

In last class, I learned about writing essay.
I thought I already know about how to write an essay.
However, I realized in this class I didn't understand how can I write a good essay.

I have never thought that my essay topic is really good for essay and I didn't know that an essay topic should be argumentative.

Therefore, I changed my mind about my topic, because it is not argumentative and I decided that I would write about a military service.

This class was really useful and good for me, because I could understand how can I write a good essay.

Mac world again

In the second day in the room of Mac computers, we learnd about Google again.

The homework of last class was to make an account of Google blog, so we added my classmate's blog into my list.

It is really useful system, because I can read my classmate's blog easily and by reading their blogs, I can understand what we learned in ARW class!

Moreover, it is interesting for me to read my friend's blog, becausewe took a same class, but there are a lot of different oppinions about the class.

Some friends thought it interesting, on the other hand, the other students described it boring.

I think I can also understand my classmate's character from thier blogs.

"A worst class"

"A worst class"
When I heard this his word, I smiled a little bit, because I thought it was just a joke.
However, when I looked around and saw my classmate's faces, I was confused, because their faces were so serious!!
While we discuss about how can we describe Rab in three words, all my friends looked like small children who were scold by their mothers for something and I also came to think it as serious thing.

After all, it turned out that it was just a joke as I guessed first.
We really worried about our essay, but by this experience I could understand how human's emotion effects to our idea about things.
His way to teach was really nice.

What I was surprised in this class was that in some country( I forgot which country),
crossing our legs when we are standing means I want to go to a rest room!!!
I was really surprised, because actually I often do that and I did so many times it in America!!
Oh my God! How many people who are from the country did think why I don't go to rest room!!?
I was so embarrassed.
I hope nobody were there who thinks crossing legs means people want to go to rest room!

The day I found an answer of my question

Finally, Rab's "real" class has stared.
I was looking forward to taking his class, because I had heard from my friend that he is a little bit strict.
Last term, my ARW's teacher was Steve and he wasn't so strict.
Even if I loved him and his class, I wanted to take harder class, so I was happy to hear that my teacher would be Rab.

Anyway, his class was different from Steve's one.
He made us to be some groups and discuss about what he told us.
The way he taught us was really good and I liked it very much.
He explained about contexts of ELA book with a lot of interesting examples, so even if his talking was a little bit fast, I could understand them very well.
Moreover, he let us discuss in the group than reading the text book.
This system was really good, because this helped me to make sure about my idea and helped me to improve my speaking ability.

What I found in this class was that a gesture which shows two fingers with back of the hand is a kind of slang words.
I suddenly remembered someone told me that I should be careful when I take a picture in some European countries, because Japanese often do it.
I was wondering why it is bad thing for European people(UK), but in this class, I finally understood the reason.
I was happy to know the history about UK!

A windows user used Mac

In the second day of ARW, we learned about google.
In this class, I used Mac computer for the first time.
(Acctually I have used Mac note computer before, but this was my first time to use such a big computer.)
I even didn't know where is a start button and where should I push when I want to shut down the computer.
As I heard from my friend who is stream1, Rab taught us a lot of  things about computer.
In this class, he mainly told us about how to make use of Google better.
I was surprised, because there were a lot of functions in Google such as calender, reminder and reader.
I thought this was so useful, but now I realized that I didn't check Google so much!
Therefore, I think Google calender isn't so useful for me...

Anyway, what is the best thing I was impressed in this class was ZOTERO.
It was amazing and this system looks like the Savior for me!!!
In last term, I searched about my works cited by myself and I had a lot of trouble the work.
However, since this term, I will not have any trouble to make works cited any more!!
This system helps me to search information of books and make works cited.
This is wonderful and I love it.
I am so happy to meet ZOTERO!
